Jack is a contemporary artist, based in the UK. He creates narrative-rich works that explore identity, presence and lived experience. Born in Nigeria to Zambian and Scottish parents, he draws upon a range of cultural and aesthetic influences in his work. Working across painting, drawing, collage and mixed media, his practice combines realism with symbolic and layered backgrounds to create artworks that are personal, culturally resonant and that reflect the complexity and ambiguity of contemporary life.

His work features in private and public collections and he is one of the family of artists on the BBC One's Extraordinary Portraits.​​​
Extraordinary Portraits - Season 5
The new series of Extraordinary Portraits starts on BBC One at 7.30pm, March 27th. Jack's episode will air on Friday 24th April.
